Welcome to the Alabama Numismatic Society, the primary coin collecting (numismatic) organization in the state of Alabama. Our mission is to promote numismatic hobby and to protect gold and silver dealers and collectors. The Alabama Coin Show website is a unique gathering place for dealers and collectors with shared interests in coins, paper money, jewelry, and antique maps. ​The 2026 Alabama Coin Show takes place July 17–19 at the Bessemer Civic Center in Bessemer, Alabama.

The Alabama Coin Show is Alabama’s biggest and longest-running coin show, welcoming dealers and collectors from across the state and throughout the Southeast. Hosted by the Alabama Numismatic Society, this annual event continues the Society’s long-standing mission of supporting coin, currency, gold, and silver collectors and dealers.

Our show serves as a gathering place for those with shared interests in coins, paper money, bullion, jewelry, medals, tokens, and related collectibles. Whether you are a seasoned collector, an experienced dealer, or new to the hobby, the Alabama Coin Show provides an opportunity to buy, sell, trade, and learn in a friendly and welcoming environment.​

Public show hours are Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additional information for attendees and dealers, including applications and show details, can be found throughout the site.
